Herring Gut gratefully accepts donations of stocks and annuities. Here are instructions on how to transfer these securities to our account at First National Bank (FNWM). Please forward these to your broker/financial institution. The protocol for liquidation is for the asset to be sold immediately upon delivery at FNWM or as close to the time of arrival into your account as is humanly possible. Regarding the deduction for tax purposes, the dollar amount is often calculated as the average of the high and low selling prices on the date of the donation (not the date of receipt), but please consult your CPA/tax preparer to ascertain the value of the donations.
