Governor Mills and Jamie Wyeth visit Herring Gut Coastal Science Center

Herring Gut Coastal Science Center recently enjoyed a visit from Governor Janet Mills and Jamie Wyeth. It was Governor Mill’s first visit to Herring Gut. She enjoyed hearing about all of our successful community programming, school programs, our Fresh to Salt watershed education project and touring our beautiful coastal campus. They both took part in a fish printing art activity, learned about marine animals in our touch tank and Governor Mills fed the fish in our aquaponics lab.
