The Long Coast
Herring Gut is excited to partner with Waldo Theatre at their first film in The Waldo’s Annual Maine Artist Film Series. Join us on Thursday, July 17th for Ian Cheney’s THE LONG COAST. A lyrical and artful portrait of seafolk and seafood producers along the coast of Maine whose lives and livelihoods are inextricably connected to the ocean.
Come early to enjoy “Texture and Light” in the Waldo Gallery, an incredible display of Graphite Drawings & Giclée Prints by Susan A. Cooney who is featured in the film. Learn about the connections between the ocean, inland waters, and the economy of Maine that @herring_gut_csc is working on these days!
Join us for a post-screening reception at The Waldoboro Inn where enjoy oysters from @aphrodite_oysters and wine for purchase from Ida’s Wine Bar
